OSA Classes-Making Stamps from Cut Rubber Scraps -- Section 2
SECTION TWO
The E6000 glue sets up very quickly, so be sure you have everything ready before starting this step. You can put a small blob of glue onto a scrap piece of plastic to dip the bottom side of the rubber pieces in or you can push up a bit of the glue from the tube and draw the backside of the rubber pieces across it to spread the glue on the back of each rubber piece. One by one pick up the pieces of your stamp, touch the back to the glue, picking up a small amount of glue onto the back of the rubber piece, covering as much as the piece as possible and then place the piece where it goes onto the base, using the underlying Copy 1 as a guide. For small pieces it works well and creates less mess to use tweezers to pick up the cut rubber pieces, dip them in the glue and place them on the base. You can use toothpicks to move the pieces around sliding them into place before the glue dries. As you do this be careful to avoid getting glue on the top of your rubber pieces.
